About Innovation District Copenhagen

Innovation District Copenhagen has one of Europe’s highest concentrations of education and research in the fields of medicine, health and natural sciences, centered around three institutions of education, research and applied science: University College Copenhagen, University Hospital of Copenhagen and the University of Copenhagen’s Faculties of Science and Health and Medical Sciences.

Innovation District Copenhagen is a partnership between the City of Copenhagen, the Capital Region of Denmark, University College Copenhagen, the University of Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet (University Hospital of Copenhagen), the Danish Building & Property Agency, Copenhagen Bio Science Park, Symbion office community and Novo Nordisk

Innovation District Copenhagen will utilise its unique resources in the fields of medicine, health sciences and natural sciences to create a strong knowledge and innovation community and to attract business talent and investment and increase the number of entrepreneurial students and spin-outs.
