Copenhagen Science City company nominated to Business Award
INFUSER, one of the succesful companies in Copenhagen Science City, has been nominated to the Copenhagen Business Award 2016.
In June the Copenhagen Business Award will be presented to three Copenhagen based companies for the very first time. INFUSER is one of the companies nominated in the innovation category.
12 companies compete in three categories
There are three nomination categories: ‘Environment and Social Responsibility’, ‘Attractive City’ and ‘Innovation’.
INFUSER is nominated in the innovation category. The company has managed to turn primary research into jobs and tax revenues in Copenhagen, which proves that basic research might well be transformed into successful business.
In February this year the company opened the INFUSER CleanLab air laboratory in Copenhagen Science City. The laboratory is one of the most advanced research and development air laboratories in the world
Professor Matthew S. Johnson, co-founder and inventor at INFUSER, received the innovation award of the University of Copenhagen in 2014
Award ceremony
The award ceremony will take place in “Festsalen” at the Copenhagen City Hall on June, 13, 2016 between 8:30 and 12:00. A prize will be specially designed for the award.

About the Copenhagen Business Award
The City of Copenhagen (Københavns Kommune) announced the establishment of the Copenhagen Business Award in March 2016. The award pays tribute to businesses based in the Copenhagen Municipality which contribute most to the growth, environmental development, social responsibility and innovation in the Danish capital.
