Dit nye mødested i Copenhagen Science City

The knowledge sharing zone by the H. C. Ørsted Building on Nørre Allé is one of three newly established zones in Copenhagen Science City.

Your new meeting place in Copenhagen Science City

Three new knowledge sharing zones have been established in Copenhagen Science City, making it easier for companies, students and educational institutions to exchange knowledge.

Understanding that knowledge is at its best when it benefits others, Copenhagen Science City recently established three knowledge sharing zones, each with its own unique profile.

The knowledge sharing zones can be found by Metropolitan University College on Sigurdsgade, by the H. C. Ørsted Building at the University of Copenhagen and by Rigshospitalet facing towards Blegdamsvej. The zones feature Copenhagen Science City’s familiar blue colour, benches, tables, information stands and wayfinding signs.

With the new knowledge sharing zones, Copenhagen Science City takes another step in its vision of promoting collaboration between the various knowledge institutions in the area.

The knowledge sharing zones are also helping to make Copenhagen Science City’s tagline more visible to the public. Large banners with the motto “Sharing Knowledge” adorn the University of Copenhagen’s buildings facing Nørre Allé, the Rigshospitalet building facing Blegdamsvej and the knowledge sharing zone at Metropolitan University College.

Rector Stefan Hermann of Metropolitan University College will inaugurate the knowledge zone at Sigurdsgade with the new students on 1 September.

On 28 September, Rigshospitalet will host an event for young researchers, where DARE2mansion founder Laila Pawlak and hospital director Per Christiansen will speak.

The knowledge sharing zones are the result of a close collaboration between the partners behind Copenhagen Science City: the University of Copenhagen, Metropolitan University College, the Capital Region of Denmark, the City of Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet, Novo Nordisk, the Danish Building & Property Agency, Copenhagen Bio Science Park, the Dreyer Foundation, Symbion, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
